This is the main engraving from the title page of the 1850 Art-Journal, without the writing.
A group of three topless women stand on an ancient sarcophagus; the women represent sculpture (with a hammer), painting (with an artist’s palette) and architecture (with dividers) respectively, derivative of the ancient Muses of inspiration.
