Title Page, Osteographia more
The title page includes an engracing of three gentlemen discussing and examining a skeleton, I think human, with just the rib cage, neck, skull, remaining, suspended upside=down from a wooden tripod. They are standing on teh edge of a forest; on the left, I think an artist is using an elaborate wooden screen from the sun and wind to help him make a drawing, but his arms and face are hidden behind the screen so I cannot be certain.
Osteographia, or the Anatomy of the Bones.
By William Cheseldon, Surgeon to Her Majesty; F.R.S. Surgeon to St. Thomas’s Hospital, And member of the royal academy of surgery at Paris.
