Notes:

A montage in the style of a vintage postcard.

Piazza Maggiore [main square].

Palazzo Governatio [Government palace].

Piazza de S. Domenico [Saint Dominic’s Square].

Torri degli Asinelli e Garisendi [Asinelli and Garisend Towers].

Bologna.

Piazza di S. Francesco [Saint Francis’ Square].

Foro dei Mercanti [Merchants’ Forum, or Marketplace maybe].

Piazza del Paviglione [Paviglione Square, or Piazza].

Stabilº Artist.º del Lloyd austr. in Triest. Hess sc. [After drawings by Lloyd, an Austrian in Trieste; engraved by Hess].

I also have just the rustic twig border available with the pictures removed, and the individual pictures as separate images at higher resolution, and these will be linked to from here if and when posted.

The church building in the back left of the bottm-left illustration is the Basilica di San Petronio.

This would probably make a fun postcard even today.
