Gallery [with Architects] a
covered Place in a House, much longer than broad, and which is usually on the
Wings of the Building, or it is a long narrow room on the sides or fronts of
houses serving to Walk in; also a Little Isle or Walk, serving as a common
Passage to several Rooms placed in a Line or Row.
