Viˊsion

Viˊsion [F. visione (It. and Sp.) of visio (Latin)]
is a sensation in the brain, which proceeds from a due and various motion of the optick nerves, produced in the bottom of the eye, by the rays of light coming from any object, by which means the soul perceives the enlighten’d thing, together with its quantity, quality, figure, &c.
