B. M. Roy. Cott. Tib. A. VII.

We see open manuscript (hand-written) books on desks; it is not clear whether the books were for sale or whether this was a library or perhaps a room in a monastery or convent. There are two people at left, entering the room, one wit what appears to be a staff of office and perhaps a heavy purse at his side, suggesting a purchase.

This is i think Cotton Tiberius A7British Museum, in the British Museum, which contained eight separate manuscripts bound together in quarto, totalling 167 sheets, according to an old catalogue.
