Aiguisce, or Eiguisce [in Heraldry]

as a Cross Aiguisce, signifies a Cross having two Angles at the Ends, cut off, so as to terminate in Points; but it is not like the Cross Fitchee, that goes tapering away by Degrees to a sharp Point, for this Cross Aiguisce has only an obtuse Point made by taking of the Angles.
