Aluˊdels [with Chymists]
a sort of Pots used in Sublimations; they have no Bottom, and are fitted into one
another, as many, as there is Occasion. At the Bottom, in the Furnace, there is a
Pot holding the Matter that is to be sublimed, and at the Top there is a Head to receive
the Flowers that sublime up thither.
