The Aˊrmourers
were incorporated in the beginning of the Reign of Henry VI. the King himself being pleased to be Free of their Company, their Arms are Argent on a Chevron Gules, a Gauntlet between four Swords in Saltire, on a chief sable, a Buckler argent, charged with a Cross, Gules betwixt
two Helmets of the first. Their Crest is a Man demi-armed at all Points, surmounting
a Torce and Helmet.
